Adonikam
Hebrew: אֲדֹנִיקָם —transliteration: Adoniqam —meaning: my lord has arisen, or the lord has arisen
Adonikam is the name of one of the men “which came with Zerubbabel” (a prominent royal descendant of King David born in Babylon), and returned to Jerusalem from the Babylonian Captivity (Ezra 2:13).
He was the leader of an Israelite clan or family. They returned to Judea to rebuild the ruined Temple and Jerusalem’s walls.
666 of his “children” (or retainers) came up to Jerusalem (Ezra 8:13).
