Hebrew: בֶּן־עַמִּי —transliteration: Ben-ammi —meaning: son of my people; son of my kindred (i.e., born of incest)

This man is the son of Lot by his youngest daughter (Genesis 19:38). He was conceived after Lot’s family fled Sodom.

He is also known as Ammon and is the father of the Ammonites.

His brother is Moab.
