Here is a game for both parents and children who will not have violence in the house. There is no swordplay; no blasting guns. A few explosions and tumbling bricks but nothing aggressive: the goal of this puzzle is character versus a big ball… no one creature is out to get another. “Tetrisphere”, as its name implies, is a 3-D “Tetris” clone. A ball made up of differing shapes and differing levels hangs in space. The goal is to remove pieces of the sphere before your time runs out.

In single Game mode, the player plays Rescue where a friend is hidden inside the core of the ball. Blocks must be removed in order for him to escape. There is also Hide & Seek, my favorite game. This is a series of mini-games that culminate in a rescue game. There is Time Trial which is about scoring fast. There is also Puzzle in which blocks are placed on top of each other and clues are given about how to remove them. All modes increase in difficulty as the game progresses. There is also a multiplayer mode.

There really is nothing spiritual to learn from “Tetrisphere”. It's a game to relax by, and a game that parents and children can play together without the parent being bored to tears. Simple puzzles in the electronic world are hard to come by. I highly recommend this game.
