…There is a pretty graphic sex scene… no real nudity though. Some violence and quite prolific use of the f-word. I found the main male character’s kindness to be compelling. He remains quite a mystery through most of the movie. The main female character (Jennifer Lopez) is unusually trusting of the male lead… some jumping around of the plot… Doesn’t necessarily need to be seen on the big/wide screen. Turned out to be more of a love story than I expected.

This was an average movie in all ways. Average acting, average story, average filmmaking, average drama. James Caviezel definitely carried this film. I’m not sure any other actor would have been able to support Jennifer Lopez’s poor performance. I thought she did much better in The Wedding Planner. Angel Eyes was worth seeing, but I don’t plan to see it again. Wait until it goes to a dollar theatre or comes out on video.

This movie got really boring at parts because the whole movie kind of built up to this couple’s need to face their pasts, and you already knew this from the beginning. One character says that God is the only one that saves, according to her mom. Unfortunately, there was quite a few vulgar jokes including a not so subtle reference to oral sex. A girl says she’s that if asked, she’s sleep with a man on their first date. Two characters go swimming in nothing but their underwear and then go up to shore for a sexual encounter. There were also over 40 swear f-words and quite a few s-words.
