This highly informative video traces the pagan origins and history of Halloween. The Pagan/Occult calendar of Druids, Witches, Pagans and Satanists marks Halloween as one of their highest “holy days.” This video uncovers the mystic Druidic rites and ceremonies with which “Samhain” (Halloween) was originally observed thousands of years ago. The occult rituals seen in this video are real and not re-enactments.

All the seemingly innocent symbolism of Halloween—black cats, snakes, broomsticks, bonfires, “trick or treat,” jack-o-lanterns, apple dunking and costumes—has its roots in Sorcery, Witchcraft and Satanism. Parents’ responsibilities are challenged to decide whether to allow their children to participate in celebrations which glorify Pagan Occultism.

This video features Chuck Smith, Caryl Matrisciana and Hal Lindsey, as well as a number of Witches, Satanists and law enforcement officials.

This dramatic exposé will change your opinion of Halloween forever!

Positive—“Halloween: Trick or Treat?” was shown in my youth group. It was very interesting to see the dark side of Halloween—especially when so many people now think that it’s harmless.

Positive—…It was helpful for us to learn the origins and traditions of Halloween. It is not a Christian holiday! That’s obvious. Many people are involved in something of which they should be ashamed. God provided many other Christian resources (books, ministries, tapes, and DVDs) that have solidified our decision not to observe Halloween. Instead we have a family fun night and fellowship with other believers, singing hymns and worshiping God.

I highly recommend this film for parents. I would NOT show this film to children. There is a family friendly version available called, Halloween: Have You Been Tricked?

Positive—I watched this film when in the late 90s, and I still vividly remember it. I have 3 boys, and, because of this film, we have never celebrated Halloween. The man that testifies of what he went through as a boy forever changed my views of Halloween. It made me sick in a horrible way, but it was truth, and I am glad he shared the horrifying truth. A MUST see for any Christian that is OK with Halloween.
My Ratings: Moral rating: Better than Average / Moviemaking quality: 3½

Positive—This is a video that every Bible-believing church should show and every true Christian should watch. It’s been several years since I watched it, but it was a real eye-opener for many folks in our church. Even though Halloween can be said to have it’s roots in “religion”—it is not Christianity. Regardless of all the current comments about it being a Christian celebration, it is not, and never has been truly Christian in any way.

If you haven’t seen this video, I strongly recommend it—and I recommend showing it to your entire church body. Yes, there will be some who won’t like it, just like there are always those who don’t like to hear difficult truths from God’s Word.
