“Super Troopers” is truly a Christian’s police/law abiding citizens’ worst nightmare in entertainment.
A few Vermont State Troopers (Thorny, Rabbit, Mac and Foster) bungle around pulling one practical joke after another on each other and unsuspecting citizens. They’re having a good time, until they hear that budget cuts may force them out of work. Deciding to finally get down to business to impress their bosses, they uncover a drug smuggling operation and work to bring it down.
From a biblical standpoint, this of course goes against all that God teaches about obeying the laws of the land, the authorities and respecting others. It also portrays that law enforcement can break all the rules (including sex and drugs) and come out on top smelling like roses, lauded as heros with no remorse for their wrongdoing.
“Super Troopers” isn’t worth your time--not recommended.
