Here’s what the distributor says about their film: “In the comedy ‘American Reunion,’ all the ‘American Pie’ characters from a little more than a decade ago are returning to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship. It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim and Michelle married while Kevin and Vicky said goodbye. Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce.”

This movie follows:
American Pie (1999)
American Pie 2 (2001)
American Wedding (2003)

Movie Critics
“…Stale, no matter how you slice it…”
Claudia Puig, USA Today
“WATCH: American why? ‘Reunion’ unnecessary… rarely hilarious” [2/4]
Lou Lumenick, New York Post
“…not a lot of laugh-out-loud moments …The raunch-with-heart stories have been told many times since the original, and told better. ‘American Reunion’ depends more on the audience's feelings for recognizable characters than telling an original story, so adjust your expectations accordingly. …” [3/5]
Bill Goodykoontz, The Arizona Republic
“…a rather tired sequel… The plot you know, even if you don't. … For the record, the movie's cinematography and editing are pure hack work, drab and jumpy and jammed with full-face close-ups. Not good for comedy.”
Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune
“…predictable… body-fluid gags with dewy-eyed romantic sentiment. …”
John DeFoe, The Hollywood Reporter
“…a stumbling parade of misfired jokes and gross-out skits… sloppy storytelling… American Reunion’s big joke is that the guys who once pledged to lose their virginity by prom night are, after college, mortgage and marriage, hornier than ever. …” [2/4]
Stephen Cole, The Globe and Mail
