Positive—It constantly amazes when self proclaimed Christians go to R rated movie and then complain about it being filthy. If you are a good god fearing Christian, do NOT go to R rated movies; it is R rated, because it might have violence, offensive language, sexuality or nudity (which doesn’t necessarily mean sex) Christians should familiarize themselves with Judd Apatow—any movie that Judd Apatow is involved in are moralistic (“40 year old Virgin” extols virtues of waiting for sex until marriage) but they sexual innuendos, nudity and coarse language. If you find the human body, dirty, than I guess you will feel this movie is filthy and although it DOES show frontal nakedness, it is done in a humorous way NOT in a lascivious fashion.See all »

Negative—The movie is filthy. My husband and I were looking forward to a funny entertaining time at the theater. Instead we paid to feel bad. Jennifer Aniston went from a B actress to a C. Paul Rudd’s performance as he looked in the mirror to practice, what he would say to a upcoming encounter with a free spirit to engage in sex, was uncalled for. Biblical opinion based or not or just on the issue of morality itself, no one can or should condone this filth. I am quite clear that these comments I am making may be read by the cast and crew, and with good reason, they need to be.

Christianity will always be judged, and, as you know as true Christ followers, we don’t judge. Even if I was not a believer, I would not stand for such ill respect of an unsuspecting audience. There is a clear reason why Downton Abbey (PBS) is rated the #1 show in the U.S. and abroad. This should tell the writers and the film makers what people really want to see.

When Christ comes back, there will be no more pain or tears, and I know for certain I won’t have to feel Godly sorrow for those who don’t give our Savior the time of day.

Negative—I went with my friend tonight to see a funny and entertaining film with one of my favourite actresses. Unfortunately, what we saw was nothing of the sort. It was disrespectful, crude and totally uncalled for. I wanted to leave after 5 minutes. The language was appalling, and The Lord’s name was taken in vain many times. The f-word is used nearly after every other word, and the topic of sex is used in a very derogatory sense. I actually felt sick with the way they were talking about female and male reproductive parts. I actually felt uneasy watching it. Even if I wasn’t a Christian, I don’t think I could have enjoyed such dirt.

There were few laughs, so I think the audience might agree. I have always loved Jennifer Aniston and held her in high esteem, regarding her acting ability, but I have to question her reasoning for enrolling in such a project. The quality of the story is below average and has very little to it. It is offensive, and I really encourage you to avoid it at all costs.

Negative—It was extremely offensive, and I walked out. I used to like Jennifer Anniston, but the last few movies, she has been in, were way beneath her… at least I thought so. I am not sure why she thinks she needs to make such movies. It was just crude. No one should see this, because there is no way to condone even a little of it. Very disappointing.
