“Forgive us in advance for this wild weekend”

Copyrighted, Universal Pictures

Here’s what the distributor says about their film: “When four lifelong friends travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival, sisterhoods are rekindled, wild sides are rediscovered, and there's enough dancing, drinking, brawling, and romancing to make the Big Easy blush.”

Positive
Positive—I thoroughly enjoyed this humorous movie—I laughed, cried, and smiled throughout the movie. Yes there is adult (adult) humor, but if you look at the irony you will laugh. It has friendship ups and downs—just go with it—because in the end—it will warm your heart. The cast is outstanding and well delivered.

Negative
Negative—This is an awful and disappointing movie. It has a good story line but it was utterly horrible the level of crudity, nudity and foul language they allowed. I really regret not walking out but just stayed in the hope they would bring the story line around to a good ending which they did, but it just was not worth the wait.

So disappointing and hardly anyone in the cinema laughed because they really took the crudity to a disgusting level… don’t waste your money… whether you are a Christian believing person or not… stay away My Ratings: Moral rating: Extremely Offensive / Moviemaking quality: 3
