This latest installment from Big Idea is fabulous! A special treat for “older kids” who enjoy Batman but want a Biblical message too! I honestly hope that Big Idea makes a full-length feature film or even gets an episode in as a short for another movie. I’m not sure what their plans are, but these movies are THAT GREAT!!

The story starts out as Junior Asparagus breaks his Father’s collectible plate. However, a visitor from another planet, Fibrilious Minimus (or Fib for short), encourages Junior to make up a story, a fib, if you will. Junior complies and ends up having to make up more stories to keep the truth from being known. Unfortunately, for Junior, the Fib seems to grow after each new fib is fabricated, until he is suddenly monstrous-sized and decides to wreak havoc on the small town of Bumblyburg! Thankfully, Larry-Boy is called in, but it isn’t until Junior admits his lies that the day is saved!

n excellent lesson is learned by how one “fib” can grow. It is better to tell the truth, even if you may get in trouble for it! A great lesson for all viewers! Also, a special treat of a music-video by Larry-Boy! The animation is terrific and the music original!

I don’t think this movie will offend anyone. However, it may be scary to younger viewers at times. Furthermore, the Fib is depicted as being from Outer Space. While this may bother some parents, it may be a good way to open the discussion up with their children.
