This the name of one of King David’s sons (2 Sam. 5:16). His mother is not named in Scripture. He is 1 of 9 sons who were born of David’s other wives. These brothers are Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet, Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphalet (Eliphelet).

He is also called Eliphelet, and he was born in Jerusalem (1 Chr. 3:8). He has several brothers, and Princess Tamar is his sister.
