Hebrew: עֲנַמֶּלֶךְ —transliteration: `Anammelek —meaning: “Anu is king” [melech = king]
This false goddess was a Syrian and Mesopotamian Moon-god.
It was also worshipped by the people of the city of Sepharvaim (aka Sephar-vaim or Sippara), who colonized Samaria (2 Kings 17:31).
It was a female deity representing the Moon, and Adrammelech was the male god representing the Sun.
